The aim of the project is to raise awareness of biological and social differences between women and men on prevention, diagnosis and treatment for the same diseases. Based on existing knowledge in the area of gender aspects in cardiovascular diseases, CAD is chosen as example/model to deepen understanding of the different situations for women and men among health professionals and the general public. The coverage of EU Member States should be broad and balanced, with the aim to involve all EU Member States.

The main outcomes will be a study and surveys, different factsheets published in all 24 official EU languages, and a communication plan in printed and e-versions.

The tenderer will organise a workshop and 2 international conferences.
