The European Parliament has decided, as leading institution, to issue this invitation to tender for photographic coverage of EU current affairs and symbolic images worldwide without any geographical exceptions for use for the 3 participating institutions’ information and communication needs (interinstitutional open call for tenders for the European Council, the European Commission and the European Parliament — this latter being the leading institution).
The audiovisual services of the 3 institutions seek to illustrate EU policy to help the audiovisual media cover EU current affairs. The purpose of this interinstitutional framework contract is to provide to the participating EU Institutions extensive photo services in all parts of the world.
The tender procedure will lead to the conclusion of an interinstitutional framework contract.
This procedure is the continuity of the one made with the same purpose 4 years ago by the European Commission which was the leading institution.
